100% of donations go directly to administering aid where it is most needed.
SmartAID teams across Australia and The US have been working tirelessly providing hundreds of oxygen concentrators to hospitals in New Delhi and across the country. We continue to supply concentrators to as many hospitals that have opened new COVID wards and have limited access to these essential items.
On the tech front, we are helping to expand mobile vaccination registration, working through local partners to register as many people as possible. We are also working to fight online mis-information on the virus in communities across India.
We are reaching tens of thousands of people in vulnerable communities such as senior citizens, people with disabilities, people with chronic disease, women and single parent households, that unfortunately do not have access to smart phones or the Internet to register for the vaccination and often fall in the trap of Fake News presented to them by people with no medical background.
The surge of COVID19 in India has caused the digital divide to widen, impacting the society at large and is preventing a large population from accessing the protection they need.
1. Purchase more oxygen concentrators for our partner hospitals.
2. Send hundreds of local community volunteers to help register people for government vaccines.
3. Help fight miss information on COVID19 within the community and on social media.
SmartAID is running this campaign in partnership with The Ted Arison Family Foundation, DHL Global and generous private donors across India, Australia and the US.
